“Stack of Bills”

Stack of Bills submerged in transparent silicone is one of Bator’s art objects from series of preserved items. It’s a form of capturing objects, freezing them in time, preserving from decomposition and ageing.
Clouded form of transparent silicone stands for unclear vision of monetary future based on current and past economy history. Bank notes in a stack of bills are presumably Asian origin with visible Asian man character, letters and graphics. Financial differences between Asian countries and countries like America or most of European countries brings reflexion of necessity for financial balance in the world.
At the back of the “Stack of Bills” word “HELL” is clearly visible which allude to often distorted beliefs about wealth to devilish, literally "form hell" ancestry. It’s often triggered through programming by religious beliefs still used for manipulation and influencing. Truth about wealth is a totally opposite, nowdays religions have less and less influence and more democratic entrepreneur life style is becoming more common form of contemporary living. At the back of the “Stack of Bills” is also visible word “OTE” which stands for “On-Target-Earnings” commonly known in companies which pay basic salary combined with earned bonuses and commissions for achieving targets, especially popular in sales sector where OTE is the most fair form of gratitude and reward for employees.
Summarising, Bator in the “Stack of Bills” preserves meaning and significant value of stack of bank notes, which can be possible obsolete in near future replaced with cards and other digital monetary forms. He also communicates to us significant necessity for financial balance in the world and inspire to change of our mindset in regard to wealth and financial abundance often distorted.
